Preparation for a Smooth Selection Process
An MoE representative, during an interview with our editorial team, emphasized that their department, in collaboration with the Free Senior High School Secretariat and the Ghana Education Service, has diligently prepared to ensure a seamless and successful nationwide school selection process.
The MoE spokesperson urged parents and guardians of 2023 BECE candidates to actively participate in their children’s school selection process, which will utilize computer-based placement.
This significant step is set to kick off on Monday, September 18, 2023.
Rescheduled Selection Date
This revised date for the 2023 Senior High Schools selection follows a prior announcement by the Ghana Education Service (GES), which originally set the school selection commencement for August 23, 2023, but subsequently rescheduled the date without specifying the reasons for the change.
