Diploma in Public Health Nursing in Ghana: The course prepares students for advanced community-based medical therapies and outcomes measurement, with a focus on health promotion and disease preventive interventions across the life span.
Public Health Nursing is the practice of promoting and protecting the health of populations using knowledge from social, nursing, and public health sciences.
It involves ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, INTERVENTION, IMPLEMENTATION, EVALUATION, and DOCUMENTATION.
These are to determine the extent to which the intervention has an impact on the health status of individuals and the population through monitoring.

Requirements for entry:
- WASSCE / SSSCE OR ITS EQUIVALENT
English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science with any three of the following: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Government, History, Christian Religious Studies or Islamic Religious Studies, Literature-in-English, French, General Agriculture, Elective Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Animal Husbandry, Food and Nutrition and Management in Living
Requirements for entry (Top-up)
Applicants must be already in the health field with the following:
Diploma in Nursing
Certificate in nursing or any other related course.
