Election 2024: NDC will deliver if they gain power in 2024
Election 2024: Benjamin Kofi Quashie, the Chair of the South African National Democratic Congress Council of Elders and
the Group Chairman for Allied Consortiums has expressed that the party aims to deliver a message of hope to Ghanaians in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Quashie stated that the party’s message is intended to resonate with the Ghanaian people and provide a solution to the current economic challenges they face.
During an interview on the ‘Epa Ho A Daben’ show on Accra-based Happy FM, the Chairman of SA NDC acknowledged the skepticism towards politicians’ promises and assured that the party had learned from their time in opposition.
He emphasized that their leader is committed to uniting everyone to build a better Ghana collectively, rather than focusing on personal interests or favoritism.
When asked about involving members of the opposing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to contribute to Ghana’s development, Quashie confirmed that the NDC would indeed seek collaboration.
He mentioned the Senchi consensus as an example of previous cooperation between different parties for the benefit of the country.
He highlighted President Mahama’s inclusive nature and willingness to consider ideas from various sources to improve the nation’s prospects.
Quashie emphasized the importance of patriotism and unity, noting that President Mahama encourages collaboration to overcome the challenges Ghana faces.
He expressed his belief that President Mahama would be receptive to sound suggestions and would work towards building a better Ghana that benefits all citizens.
