How many years does it take to study physiotherapy in Ghana?
To become a physiotherapist in Ghana, it will take you four years to study physiotherapy in any of the universities offering the programme in Ghana. After your study, you need one extra year to do your internship and write the Allied Health Profession licensing exams to qualify as a registered physiotherapist. So, in total, you need 5 years to be a certified physiotherapist in Ghana.

Entry Requirements for Physiotherapy in Ghana
Entry Requirements for Physiotherapy: An applicant for admission to a degree Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy programme in the University must have at least credits (A1 – C6 in WASSCE and A – D in SSSCE)
Core subjects: Passes in English, Core Math, Integrated Science, and Social Study
Electives subjects: Credit passes in Biology or Elective Mathematics and Chemistry, Physics, and Chemistry.
Applicants must not get beyond aggregate 24.

Apply as International Baccalaureate for Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy
The University of Ghana welcomes applications from students who follow the IB Diploma Programme and meet the following College requirements. Admissions will be to Level 100.
Applicants must have at least Grade 5 in Chemistry, and either Biology or Physics at the Higher Level.
In addition, applicants must have at least grade 4 in English Language/Literature (SL) and Mathematics SL and at least grade C for the third science at the IGCSE or equivalent.
