Financial Clearance: MoH obtained clearance to pay rotation Nurses allowance.
Financial Clearance: According to the Minister for Health (MoH), Kwaku Agyemang Manu,
the government has given financial clearance to the Ministry of Health to provide an allowance for 16,599 rotation nurses, midwives, and allied health interns in the country.
The Minister emphasized that this clearance was granted to ensure the provision of quality healthcare, even in remote areas.
Similarly, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has disbursed approximately GH¢241.9 million cedis to promote teacher education and cover the payment of teacher trainees’ allowance.
Professor Yahyra Dzakadzi, the Director of Tertiary Education at the Ministry of Education, revealed this information during the 14th Graduation of the Saint Monica’s College of Education in Asante Mampong.
Additionally, an amount of 32.4 million cedis has been released to cover Books and Research Allowances for eligible senior members of public tertiary education institutions, including colleges of education, for the 2022/2023 academic year.
The Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, hinted at the disbursement of teacher trainees’ allowance during the 14th Congregation of the Sefwi Wiawso College of Education, where he stated that the allowances for the 2022/23 academic year would soon be credited to the accounts of the 49 colleges of education nationwide.
The government, through the Ministry of Education, has approved a total of 241,913,000 Cedis for the payment of teacher trainee allowances for the specified academic year, as mentioned in the speech read on behalf of the Education Minister during the Sefwi Wiawso College of Education Congregation.
