Health benefits of groundnut soup for erectile dysfunction

Health benefits of groundnut soup: In my first article, I discussed the several health advantages of groundnut soup. The advantages are embodied in the peanut used in groundnut soup.

Benefits of groundnut soup

Groundnut soup may benefit men’s sexual health because of an essential component found in peanuts called arginine. Let us now look at the science of arginine and sexual wellness.

Morris et al. (2017) discovered that arginine is required for the formation of T-cells, which are white blood cells that play important roles in the immunological response.

It is an amino acid that aids the body in the production of protein. Your body normally produces all of the L-arginine it requires. Most protein-rich meals include L-arginine, including fish, red meat, chicken, soy, whole grains, legumes, and dairy products. L-arginine can be taken orally or topically as a supplement.

According to another study, Mirmiran et al. (2017), arginine is abundant in meat, poultry, dairy, nuts, soy products, and fish. According to reports, the typical daily consumption of L-arginine from meals is 4-6 grams. According to the study, a normal Western diet delivers 25-30% of the total arginine available in the body (Rosenthal et al. 2016). Arginine in groundnut soup is also utilized in supplement formulation and may be purchased in powder, liquid, pill, and tablet forms at grocery shops, supplement stores, and so on. In this post, I discuss the advantages of arginine as well as the numerous forms available other than groundnut soup.

L-Arginine

Natural sources of L-arginine include groundnuts, beef, chicken, and fish. It can also be synthesized in a laboratory. It is an amino acid that aids in the production of proteins. In the body, it also produces the gas nitric oxide (NO). NO is essential for erectile function because it relaxes blood vessels, allowing more oxygen-rich blood to flow through your arteries.

Normal erection function requires adequate blood flow to the penile arteries. Arginine’s Efficiency Barassi et al. (2017) completed considerable research on L-arginine as a potential therapy for ED and a variety of other diseases.

They discovered that while supplements are typically safe and well taken by most men, they do not help restore healthy erectile performance. When it comes to scientific proof of successful ED therapy, the Mayo Clinic assigns L-arginine a C rating.

The intriguing part is that it gives excellent assistance when paired with other supplements. Let’s have a look at them: Hydrochloride of L-arginine with Yohimbine According to the findings of Akhondzadeh et al. (2010), when Yohimbine hydrochloride, also known as yohimbine, an authorized therapy for ED, is coupled with L-arginine, it shows some promise.

According to the study, the therapy is only for mild to severe ED.

L-arginine and Pycnogenol

Stanislavov and Nikolova (2010) discovered that supplementing with L-arginine and Pycnogenol helped a substantial proportion of males aged 25 to 45 with ED attain regular erections. The therapy also did not result in the negative effects associated with ED medicines.

Pycnogenol is a brand name for a supplement derived from the pine bark of the Pinus pinaster tree. Extracts from peanut skin-groundnut skin) this is why groundnut might do magic for your ED, grape seed, and witch hazel bark may also be included. Remember that this is a placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial.

Other studies as standalone

The most current comprehensive review and meta-analysis of arginine on erectile function, published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, included 10 randomized controlled studies with 540 participants. They discovered that taking 1,500 to 5,000 mg of arginine per day reduced mild-to-moderate ED as compared to placebo (Rhim et al. 2019).

Precautions

For those who would prefer to take an L-arginine supplement. Take note that L-arginine supplement, not groundnut soup has several possible side effects.

These include:

· increased risk of bleeding
· unhealthy imbalance of potassium in the body
· change in blood sugar levels
· decreased blood pressure

For people who are currently using ED medications such as sildenafil (Viagra) or tadalafil (Cialis). L-arginine may cause your blood pressure to decrease, therefore if you have low blood pressure or take blood pressure drugs, you should avoid it or visit a doctor before attempting it.

If you experience ED symptoms, you should consult your doctor. In many situations, ED is the result of an underlying medical condition. Stress and interpersonal problems are also concerns for many males.

However, before taking medications or supplements, try home remedies such as groundnut soup to improve erectile function because it contains arginine, which is used in the supplement.

Furthermore, because groundnut is naturally combined with ginger, garlic, and hot pepper, fish is a good substitute. Diet can help to simplify the sexual function. When using natural and home remedies to manage your sexual function, you simply need time.

Quit smoking if you smoke. Smoking causes blood vessel damage, so quit as soon as possible. In addition, following one month of therapy with a combination of L-arginine and pycnogenol, only 5% of trial participants had greater erections.

However, after three months of treatment, nearly 93% of men had a normal erection (Stanislavov, 2003). Even with combo therapy, it takes time. As a result, adopting home medicines like groundnut soup should become a habit.

Take Home

Arginine is a naturally occurring chemical that promotes libido. As a result, home treatments like groundnut are crucial for men’s sexual health. Alternatively, arginine supplements are sold in pharmacies.

According to research, combination treatment is preferable to monotherapies for those with ED. As a result, if you wish to mix an L-arginine supplement with medication, you should consult with your doctor beforehand. Groundnut soup, on the other hand, may be your saviour.

And it’s also for women. Do not feel left behind, L-Arginine equally benefits women as it tackles typical issues such as loss of libido, inability to achieve orgasm, and lack of sensitivity in the genitals. Women users have attributed the increased ability to achieve orgasm and increased sensitivity leading to better sex to L-Arginine. Improved blood circulation due to the use of L-Arginine has indicated higher fertility.
