KNUST Application deadline: The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is renowned for its exceptional education in science and technology.
The application period for the 2023–2024 academic year is still in progress, offering aspiring students the opportunity to apply for various undergraduate and graduate programs.
KNUST Application Deadline for 2023 Admissions: October 31, 2023
To be eligible for admission, prospective applicants must meet the university’s general requirements, which vary based on their educational background:
For WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants:
Prospective students must have credits in three core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science, along with credits in three elective subjects relevant to their chosen program, totaling an aggregate score of 24 or better.
For General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE) Applicants:
Applicants should pass three compulsory subjects, including English Language, and three elective subjects, including Business Mathematics.
For O’ LEVELS/MATURE and GCE/IGCSE (CAMBRIDGE) Applicants:
Five credits at the GCE/GCSE O’ Level, including Mathematics and English Language, are required. Additionally, mature applicants must pass three or more subjects at the Advanced Level.
For Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE) Applicants:
Applicants must have passed three compulsory subjects, including English Language, and obtained passes in three elective subjects, including Business Mathematics.
How to Apply for KNUST Admission 2023:
- Visit the KNUST admission portal.
- Purchase an e-voucher at authorized banks such as Cal bank, Zenit bank, GCB, or Ghana Post Company using the provided short code.
- Log in using your e-voucher serial number and PIN.
- Select your desired qualification (e.g., undergraduate).
- Complete the KNUST online application form and submit it electronically.
- After completion, print two copies of your filled application form.
- Ensure that you follow the application instructions diligently, providing all necessary documents and personal details.

How to Check Your KNUST Admission Status:
- Visit the KNUST admission portal.
- Enter your username, which comprises your serial number and e-voucher PIN.
- Click “login.”
- Access the admission letter section to view your KNUST application status.
- If you forget your login details, make sure to verify your email for recovery information.
Remember to have your KNUST-provided login credentials on hand, which you received during your admission application.
