KNUST Postgraduate Admission Forms
We invite qualified individuals to apply for admission to our diverse range of research and higher degree programs, including MSc, MEd, MArch, MFA, MA, MComm, MBA, MPA, MPH, LLM, MPhil, PhD, and EdD.
General Admission Requirements
i. Masters Programs
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in the relevant field of study. Preference will be given to applicants with a FIRST CLASS OR SECOND CLASS (UPPER DIVISION) qualification.
ii. PhD Programs
Candidates applying for a Doctor of Philosophy degree must possess an MPhil degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution and demonstrate their readiness for the proposed program.
Program Duration
For Full-Time Masters Programs, the duration is Two (2) Academic Years, while Part-Time programs take Three (3) Academic Years. Full-Time PhD Programs span Four (4) Academic Years, and Part-Time PhD Programs extend over Five (5) Academic Years.
How to Apply for KNUST Postgraduate Admissions
- Sales of E-Vouchers for admission start on Monday, May 22, 2023.
- Purchase an e-Voucher for GHȼ280.00 from GCB Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Ecobank, or through 447160#.
- After payment, you’ll receive an eVoucher with an application number and PIN.
- Visit the online admissions portal at https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/ to start your application.
- Upon completion, PRINT OUT 2 COPIES of the application form and submit them (by post) along with relevant documents to the School of Graduate Studies at KNUST.
KNUST Postgraduate Admission Deadline
The deadline for online applications is Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Late submissions will not be processed.
Important Note for International Applicants
All international applicants must apply online and pay a USD 200.00 application fee before registration.
