NDC Primaries in Limbo as fresh injunction hits May 13 primaries
NDC Primaries: The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential and parliamentary primaries may
be halted once more due to a new injunction case filed against the party.
This comes only hours after one of its flagbearer candidates, Dr. Kwabena Duffour, withdrew a previous injunction application.
The NDC, its General Secretary and National Chairman, as well as the Electoral Commission, have been sued.
Meanwhile, Citi News has yet to ascertain if the new application has been served on the party.
However, the petitioner, Edgar Asamoah Boateng, claims that the party has failed to meet the constitutionally mandated dates for the 2024 general election.
