Pantang Nursing Training cut off points

The minimum requirement for the Pantang nursing training is 24 or 36 in the pertinent six core and elective subject areas.

Grade 24 minimum for diploma programmes and 36 for certificate programmes

Students with General Science background have a higher chance of gaining admission.

How to Apply for Pantang Nursing Training

Applicants must note:         

  • All purchased vouchers are valid up to 5th July 2023 if not used.
  • No postage envelopes are required as all correspondence will be via SMS or E-mail.

  • Purchase application codes from any of the following Banks nationwide:
  • Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB)

What is the cost of a Nursing Training Form?

The nursing training forms cost Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC200.00).

Other important things to note:

  1. Applicants will receive a voucher giving them a unique PIN and Serial Number upon payment.
  2. Have a dedicated phone number and a personal valid e-mail address for all correspondence. [Please NOTE: Do not use the email address of relations]
  3. You will need your residential and Ghana Post Digital Address
  4. Use the PIN code and Serial Number to access the application form online at https://healthtraining.gov.gh
  5. Note that the online registration form is accessible only by the PIN and Serial Number.
  6. Follow the instructions carefully and fill in the relevant stages of the admission process once the online application is opened.
  7. Use the PIN and Serial Number to track the status of the admission process.
  8. Note that only Applicants who meet admission requirements will be invited to attend a competitive interview at the school of choice.    
  9. You can visit any of our health training institutions nearby for assistance in filling out your form.

Nursing Training College fees differ in charges and students are advised to confirm with the Colleges before making any payments. The following should be treated as a guide only.

Pantang Nursing Training College Requirements

WASSCE / SSSCE OR ITS EQUIVALENT (A1-C6)

English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science plus any three (3) of the following: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Elective Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Government, History, Christian Religious Studies or Islamic Religious Studies, Literature-in-English, French, Ghanaian Language, General Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, General Knowledge in Arts and Management in Living.

Frequently Ask Questions

Is D7 accepted in Nursing Training?

Applicants with D7 or E8 in any of the 3 core subjects (Maths, Science, and English) can get admitted to Nursing Training depending on the programme you wish to offer
However, those who wish to offer diploma must re-write the particular subject before the end of their 3 years programme to qualify to register for the NMC examination.
