Entry Requirements for UCC Post-diploma Distance Programs
- Applicants must possess Diploma in a related field of study from any recognized institution.
- Applicants must be holders of a Diploma in a related field of study.
- In addition, applicants must have read 3 Elective subjects in their related field of study at the WASSCE/SSSCE level.
Entry Requirements for UCC WASSCE/SSCE Distance Programs
Applicants must possess any one of the following:
- WASSCE passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects including English Language, Integrated Science, Social Studies, and Core Mathematics with 3 Electives in any subject area.
- SSCE passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects including English Language, Integrated Science, Social Studies, and Core Mathematics with 3 Electives in any subject area.
UCC Online Application Process
Below is a guide on how to apply for UCC admission online
- Applicants are to purchase the UCC online application vouchers at any of the UCC voucher sale centres.
- Select the DISTANCE application type
- Enter the serial number and pin on the voucher
- Click to login
- Complete the application form with all the required details
- Study/examination centre
- Region
- Contact number, etc.
- Click on the submit button to submit your application
Note: Applicants should ensure that all WASSCE/SSSCE results are verified. A copy of the Confirmation Page together with a copy of the Academic Transcript and Certificates should be submitted to the nearest College of Distance Education Study Centre or any branch of the Ghana Post Office.
SUBMISSION OF COPIES OF COMPLETED APPLICATION FORMS
- Two copies of completed online Application forms accompanied by two copies of result slips, certificates, and transcripts should be sent to the nearest College of Distance Education (CoDE) Study Centres or the Ghana Post
- Hard Copies of the completed online application forms should reach the Admissions Unit, College of Distance Education no later than 7th October for MEE Applicants and 9th December for DIRECT Applicants.
- Application forms received without application reference numbers, photocopies of certificates, results in slips/final GPA of transcripts will not be processed.
- Keep photocopies of the confirmation page and receipt with pin and serial numbers for reference purposes.
- Application reference numbers should be quoted when communicating with the College.
- Foreign applicants will pay their fees in US Dollars.
