MASTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH (MPH)
This programme is available for both Ghanaian and International applicants with options in:
- General
- Health Promotion
- Epidemiology and Disease Control
- Family and Reproductive Health
- Health Systems Management
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Nutrition
Entry Requirements:
Post Graduate Public health courses in UHAS: It will be advantageous if you have relevant job experience in the health industry. Particularly encouraged to apply are those with strong Cumulative Grade Point Averages (CGPAs) but little post-qualification work experience.
a respectable first degree (at least a second-class level) from an approved university.
A concept note of 500 words on the applicant’s selected area of interest must be submitted.

MASTER OF PHILOSOPHY IN APPLIED EPIDEMIOLOGY (REGULAR)
Entry Requirements:
Every applicant ought to be familiar with or interested in public health.
a strong undergraduate degree in a discipline relevant to health and health care, minimum second-class lower division.
A 500-word concept note on their field of interest may also be needed of applicants in addition to submitting their Résumé, passing an admission exam and/or interview.
It is desirable that entrants have three (3) years of relevant job experience.

The course will be full-time for a period of 24 months
DOCTOR of PHILOSOPHY in PUBLIC HEALTH (ONLY FULL-TIME)

Candidates must possess an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university in addition to a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil. ), Master of Public Health, or other Masters degree in the medical or health sciences.
