About Bachelor of Public Health Information

The challenge for public health organizations is to gather, analyze, and manage population health data in a way that maximizes effectiveness and efficiency.

Public health experts with the skills needed to create, administer, and assess public health information systems are in greater demand.

Students are introduced to ideas in this subject, as well as the crucial part populations play in health.

It exposes students to the use of data in health management and planning and focuses on the techniques for gathering demographic information and its application in the development of health programmes and services.

It also emphasizes the generation of information from data collected, the design and administration of the Ghanaian Ministry of Health’s Health Management Information System, and the outputs that may be produced to enhance Ghanaians’ health.
